Description: | Hi All, I stumbled across a problem with "dahdi-linux-complete-2.2.1+2.2.1", I happen to have 1 of 6 PRIs down at the moment. If I try and start asterisk I get the "Asterisk has detected a problem with your DAHDI configuration and will shutdown for your protection" error message. I downgraded again to "dahdi-linux-complete-2.2.0.2+2.2.0" (no other change) and was able start asterisk successfully (albeit with 1 PRI down) Thanks & Regards Jens PS: I am using asterisk-1.6.0.22 asterisk-addons-1.6.0.4 libpri-1.4.10.2 on Centos 5.4 x86_64..... | ||
Comments: | By: Tzafrir Cohen (tzafrir) 2010-02-22 05:39:18.000-0600 Can anybody else reproduce this? If so, I'd like to see the output of: head -n 1 /proc/dahdi/* dahdi_test -c 3 -v # does it hang? By: Steve Schoeneman (atiracom) 2010-03-29 14:03:40 I have the same problem, here's the requested output: [trixbox1.localdomain asterisk]# head -n 1 /proc/dahdi/* ==> /proc/dahdi/1 <== Span 1: TE2/0/1 "T2XXP (PCI) Card 0 Span 1" (MASTER) ==> /proc/dahdi/2 <== Span 2: TE2/0/2 "T2XXP (PCI) Card 0 Span 2" ==> /proc/dahdi/3 <== Span 3: WCTDM/0 "Wildcard TDM410P Board 1" [trixbox1.localdomain asterisk]# dahdi_test -c 3 -v Opened pseudo dahdi interface, measuring accuracy... And yes, it hung at this point. By: Shaun Ruffell (sruffell) 2010-03-29 14:08:52 atiracom: Could you try this same test with the current trunk of dahdi-linux? By: Steve Schoeneman (atiracom) 2010-03-29 14:36:53 I compiled and installed the lastest libpri (libpri-1.4.10.2) and the problem is resolved. The system had libpri-1.4.10.1, as is distributed with the latest trixbox. Thanks for your quick reply! By: Shaun Ruffell (sruffell) 2010-03-29 14:41:49 While I'm glad to hear that your problem is resolved, I'm suspicious. libpri doesn't have any impact on dahdi_test. My guess is that it's still something you may see intermittently on your system. By: Tom Chadwin (tomchadwin) 2010-04-07 10:38:30 I have the same in DAHDI 2.2.1 on 2.6.27.42 (using Astlinux). I have a TDM410P. haltwhistlepbx ~ # head -n 1 /proc/dahdi/* Span 1: WCTDM/0 "Wildcard TDM410P Board 1" (MASTER) haltwhistlepbx ~ # dahdi_test -c 3 -v Opened pseudo dahdi interface, measuring accuracy... Hangs, and I have to CTRL-C. Downgrading to 2.2.0.2 on 2.6.27.29 fixes the problem. By: Tom Chadwin (tomchadwin) 2010-04-07 11:32:11 Forgot Asterisk versions: working 2.2.0.2 is on Asterisk 1.4.29; failing 2.2.1 is on 1.4.30. By: Shaun Ruffell (sruffell) 2011-09-11 00:15:36.512-0500 I doubt this is a problem with any of the current releases. If it is, feel free to reopen. |
