****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ******

Using kernel 2.6.25-gentoo-r6 and linux-headers-2.6.26.
Comments:By: Leif Madsen (lmadsen) 2008-09-10 08:44:04

Uhhh... 2.6.25-gentoo-r6 kernel and 2.6.26 kernel headers? Those don't seem to match...

Can anyone else reproduce this issue?

By: John Covici (covici) 2008-09-11 13:19:22

I changed the headers to 2.6.25-r4, but no cange.  I wonder i anyone else is using those header versions to compile those tools?

By: Shaun Ruffell (sruffell) 2008-09-15 14:54:46

I just looked in the head of the Linux git repository, and ifru_settings is still defined....

http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=blob_plain;f=include/linux/if.h;hb=HEAD

Does the include/linux/if.h in your system differ than the one in the link above?

By: John Covici (covici) 2008-09-15 15:14:34

These are very different files even though they have the same verson number -- here is what I have.

Could you please test this with SVN version of dahdi-tools?

By: Jason Parker (jparker) 2008-10-20 14:21:27

I am certain that this was fixed.

There was a configure script check added, since sethdlc is no longer disabled by default.

By: Shaun Ruffell (sruffell) 2009-06-03 10:34:24

I'm reopening this issue in light of the duplicate 0015254 that was just opened.

By: Shaun Ruffell (sruffell) 2009-06-03 10:57:16

qwell enlightened me.  http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=270283.  I'll close this bug when the corresponding Gentoo bug is closed.

By: Shaun Ruffell (sruffell) 2009-06-29 16:07:55

Actually, I should have closed this earlier since it is not a bug in DAHDI, and there isn't a way for us to fix it.  So, I'm closing it now.
