Description: | When using Dahdi 2.6.0 with Asterisk 1.8 or Asterisk 10 there is a loud background noise on the outbound calls to Dahdi Channels using Digium E1 cards, only on the Calling side, the Called side hears no noise and quality is good. by downgrading the Dahdi to version 2.4 everything works fine on both Asterisk versions. I could not see any errors but the noise is there and is unbearable and the calling station can not hear the other side. | ||

By: Gentian Bajraktari (gentian) 2012-02-15 13:57:26.620-0600 Yes it looks the same issue, i have a dual span card with echo cancellation on board. I will test with the trunk version and let you know, but it seems this is the problem. thanks, i was not aware of that issue. By: Gentian Bajraktari (gentian) 2012-02-19 14:28:05.886-0600 its works with the recent update of dahdi. anyway at the moment i used the previous version which is another fix. |
