Description:I have had this setup with Asterisk 1.6.2.9, 1.6.2.16, 1.6.2.16.1, and 1.8.2.2.  None of them show the Caller ID when calling from a dahdi extension.  And when showing the dahdi channel at the CLI, it doesn't show there is a Caller ID.

I have tried the patch available in 0016968, but either I'm doing it wrong, which is possible, or it isn't helping.

What hardware are you using?  Can you describe again what you have connected to what?  Your report is against DAHDI 2.4.0.  Is this issue the same when using older versions?

Sorry this has taken a bit to get back.  I am using Sangoma hardware.  I have connected various types of analog phones and faxes to it, I wouldn't expect them to make a difference and they don't.  I haven't been able to try it with any older versions at this point.

Socs28: I do not think this is a problem in DAHDI-Linux. If you haven't already, I would recommend contacting Sangoma for assistance with this issue.

The issue is resolved in asterisk 1.8.3.2 and 1.8.4-rc2
