Description: | I have had this setup with Asterisk 1.6.2.9, 1.6.2.16, 1.6.2.16.1, and 1.8.2.2. None of them show the Caller ID when calling from a dahdi extension. And when showing the dahdi channel at the CLI, it doesn't show there is a Caller ID. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** cocbvoip*CLI> dahdi show channel 63 Channel: 63 File Descriptor: 71 Span: 3 Extension: Dialing: no Context: from-internal Caller ID: Calling TON: 0 Caller ID name: Mailbox: none Destroy: 0 InAlarm: 0 Signalling Type: FXO Kewlstart Radio: 0 Owner: <None> Real: <None> Callwait: <None> Threeway: <None> Confno: -1 Propagated Conference: -1 Real in conference: 0 DSP: no Busy Detection: no TDD: no Relax DTMF: yes Dialing/CallwaitCAS: 0/0 Default law: ulaw Fax Handled: no Pulse phone: no DND: no Echo Cancellation: 128 taps currently OFF Wait for dialtone: 0ms Actual Confinfo: Num/0, Mode/0x0000 Actual Confmute: No Hookstate (FXS only): Onhook | ||
Comments: | By: Jeff Swank (socs28) 2011-01-25 15:27:33.000-0600 I have tried the patch available in 0016968, but either I'm doing it wrong, which is possible, or it isn't helping. By: Michael Spiceland (mspiceland) 2011-01-31 08:52:47.000-0600 What hardware are you using? Can you describe again what you have connected to what? Your report is against DAHDI 2.4.0. Is this issue the same when using older versions? By: Jeff Swank (socs28) 2011-02-19 02:16:27.000-0600 Sorry this has taken a bit to get back. I am using Sangoma hardware. I have connected various types of analog phones and faxes to it, I wouldn't expect them to make a difference and they don't. I haven't been able to try it with any older versions at this point. By: Shaun Ruffell (sruffell) 2011-04-15 11:06:16 Socs28: I do not think this is a problem in DAHDI-Linux. If you haven't already, I would recommend contacting Sangoma for assistance with this issue. By: Jeff Swank (socs28) 2011-04-15 11:50:50 The issue is resolved in asterisk 1.8.3.2 and 1.8.4-rc2 By: Shaun Ruffell (sruffell) 2011-04-15 11:52:20 Socs28: Thanks for following up. |
