I know this has been sitting here for awhile, but are you saying that the TDM400 violates some spec, or just wanted to take a note that reversepolarity resolves an issue in your setup?

IIRC when VMWI Line reversal and VMWI neon DC generation were implemented the idle line condition became the same polarity to allow OnHookTransfer to happen without requiring a line switch. Still requires a polarity switch as ring starts.

@sruffel In my opinion it is a spec violation.  I used a standard phone polarity tester to confirm. It is not special to my setup in any shape or form.

The RJ11 jacks on the TDM400 are wired contrary to what would be expected in a properly wired RJ11 jack. This fact is however clearly reflected in the manual. It is a bit odd, but not a new find.
