3. Asterisk 1.4.29.1

When Asterisk started it always give out a ERROR
"[Feb 26 15:41:14] ERROR[18823] codec_dahdi.c: Failed to open /dev/dahdi/transcode: No such file or directory"

How can I fix this error. Thanks for help.

After google around I realize that this ERROR is not an real ERROR. I just unload codec_dahdi.so and the issue fixed.

IMHO, this error message is too confusing. Rephrase it to mention a transcoder card?

Another option, is to change the default modules.conf to just noload codec_dahdi since most users won't want it anyway.
