| Description: | We used to run Asterisk 1.4.21.1 with slackware kernel 2.6.24 and zaptel 1.4.12.1 without problems After upgrading to DAHDI Linux 2.1.0.3, DAHDI Tools 2.1.0.2 and kernel 2.6.24 in slackware the server dumps a kernel panic. On this setup the asterisk process itself does not core dump, it is the kernel core dumping To avoid hardware problems we decided to change the server from a clone to a Dell Poweredge 800 running Centos 5.2 with latest updates. After this change, the same issue still happens. The asterisk process itself does not core dump, it is the kernel core dumping. We are not sure that dahdi module is causing this problem, but there is a great probability because asterisk is not core dumping. Without any more information my only guess is that your crash might be related to http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=14183 which recently had a commit in the trunk for. By: Thiago Garcia (thiagarcia) 2009-01-27 13:55:51.000-0600 So far the process is still running without problems, I don't have picture of the panic, but looking at the DAHLIN-71 picture its a similar panic. Reading the DAHLIN-71, as advised, we are going to update with the latest revision of dahdi-linux and dahdi-tools around 20:30 UTC. Will keep you posted about the results. Sorry for the dup issue.
