Description: | https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+13+Application_Dial
The Dial application help text reads: {noformat} DIALEDTIME - This is the time from dialing a channel until when it is disconnected. ANSWEREDTIME - This is the amount of time for actual call. {noformat} "when it is disconnected" * Disconnected from what? "amount of time for actual call" * What is an actual call? We should rewrite these descriptions to be more explicit. The explanations here are a bit better: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Dial+Channel+Variables However the explanation of DIALEDTIME is still a bit overly brief. "Time for the call" could be expanded. | ||||
