Description: | OPTIONS messages are sent out periodically to qualify an endpoint. If you have a lot of endpoints to qualify, the OPTIONS messages are sent out all at once and can flood the link or overload the server. The qualify start timers need to be staggered to spread the messages out.
The simplest way to stagger the different endpoint qualify polls with respect to each other would be to pick a random initial poll time. | ||
