| Description: | Due to increased usage of the Asterisk core HTTP transport, and the frequency at which REST API calls are going to be issued -- support for persistent connections (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_persistent_connection) should be added. This will decrease the overhead and processing time for HTTP requests, where the same client is talking to the same Asterisk instance, and both support persistent connections.
