|Description:||I have announce_user_count announce_user_count_all announce_only_user set in confbridge.conf under a user profile.|
However all three features are ignored.
If I set these variables via the dialplan the feature is available.
Other features set in the user profile are set and are actioned.

Can you attach confbridge.conf, along with your extensions.conf? Don't forget to sanitize.
What method are you using to determine their availability when either setting the features up in confbridge.conf or via dialplan?

I am setting the bridge varables for confbridge via the dialplan and the confbridge user profiles via confbridge.conf.
However if I set announce_user_count via the dialplan it works but any profile settings I request via confbridge.conf are ignored.

While only using the confbridge.conf settings to set the described options, please run these CLI commands and attach the output as txt files to the issue.
confbridge show profile user user_a
confbridge show menu menu_a
confbridge show profile bridge default_bridge

Additionally go ahead and provide a full log with VERBOSE and DEBUG at level 5 at least that covers asterisk startup and the time during execution of the confbridge related dialplan.

[Edit by Rusty Newton - removing and attaching as command_output.txt]
Do you have a method for gathering a full log with VERBOSE and DEBUG at level 5

Just a quick note if I remove marked users fron user_a profile announce_user_count starts to work for that profile.
However user_b has wait for marked user set which means callers with profile user_b are never able to join the conference.
It looks like the issue relates to enabling of marked users.

Please attach the full log as a txt file, if it is large in compressed format.

Log file attached.
One more observation. The annoucment "you will be placed into the conference" is only played to admin users.

Do you have everything you need from me at this stage?

Are there any other logs required?

Yes, the user count announcement was only being run for unmarked users. I have a patch at https://reviewboard.asterisk.org/r/2072/ which hopefully fixes this and other issues.

Sounds good. As an estimate which version of Asterisk will we see the fix included, if accepted?
I install Asterisk from RPM packages.

Jonathan. We don't know yet what version it would be in. After it gets committed, then it would hopefully be in one of the next two minor versions released on the 10 branch.
