| Description: | Asterisk version: 1.8.4 I'm fairly new to asterisk. I'm having a problem with my asterisk. Sudden hang-up of command line/cli or asterisk process hang up. I'm not sure why this happens, I've read some of the forums and I'm not sure if it's really a deadlock. I've tried to type the command "core show locks" for logs. I've experienced this 3 times just this morning. All current calls are still engaged while this happens, i mean the hanging up doesn't affect the current engaged calls but the new calls that are trying to go out can't go out anymore, and when i try to execute the "core show channels" nothing happens, it comes back to the cli w/out displaying any live channels knowing that there are still an engaged calls. Can some one help me with this one, i don't know how, maybe patching or something? All i know is I'm having a headache with this problem. By: Paul Flores (spm.pflores) 2012-01-28 20:12:30.925-0600 As of today sir Sunday, January 29, 2012 10:08, I haven't encountered the hang thing since i updated my asterisk from 1.8.4 to 1.8.8.2 except from cut calls from sip to sip calls, but i think it's another issue now.
