Description:If I use a SIP-Provider who sends a "SIP/2.0 180 Ringing" all is fine!

If I use a SIP-Provider who DOESN'T send a "SIP/2.0 180 Ringing" the call answers immediately but i have no audio. the other side rings and if they answers the call there is also no audio, if the hangup i receive the hangup command normaly.

[Matt Jordan]
Note from Walter below: this appears to be a problem with chan_dahdi not receiving a notification it needs if a 180 Ringing isn't sent to the bridged SIP channel.

Please provide the version of Asterisk you are currently using.

We also require a complete debug log to help triage the issue. This document will provide instructions on how to collect debugging logs from an Asterisk machine for the purpose of helping bug marshals troubleshoot an issue: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Collecting+Debug+Information

What you've attached is a SIP trace, which is useful, but is not what we requested - an Asterisk DEBUG log.  Please attach a DEBUG log illustrating the problem.

I looked into this a couple of minutes a while ago: it looked like the dahdi did not get into the right state without some ringing notification. This would make the subject somewhat misleading: quick guess says it's a dahdi problem (or a core problem).

Are you still experiencing this problem in a supported version of Asterisk?
