is the original version of this clone:ASTERISK-19087 CLONE -core show channels randomly shows IP instead of IAX account
Environment:Centos 5.7 running on xen.Attachments:
Description:Hello,

Running asterisk 1.6.2.20
The output of "core show channels" displays the IP instead of the IAX2 account number on random accounts and occasions.

Here is an example where it shows IAX2/172.28.0.69 instead of IAX2/#ACCOUNT :

Channel              Location             State   Application(Data)
IAX2/54036-5070      s@marco-pronto:11    Up      Dial(SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P0)
SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P (None)               Up      AppDial((Outgoing Line))
IAX2/54034-3004      s@marco-pronto:11    Up      Dial(SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P0)
SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P (None)               Up      AppDial((Outgoing Line))
IAX2/54035-408       s@marco-pronto:11    Up      Dial(SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P0)
SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P (None)               Up      AppDial((Outgoing Line))
IAX2/54040-3218      s@marco-pronto:11    Up      Dial(SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P0)
SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P (None)               Up      AppDial((Outgoing Line))
IAX2/172.28.0.69:456 s@marco-pronto:11    Up      Dial(SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P0)
SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P (None)               Up      AppDial((Outgoing Line))
IAX2/54042-7922      s@marco-pronto:11    Up      Dial(SIP/PAT28-PRONTO04_P0)

As i said, it happens randomly, if i unsubscribe the account and re-log it, the output will be correct; but then another account will eventually do the same.

Thank you for your help.

Please provide additional information such as your setup, configuration, what the end points are (all Asterisk?)

Also you're going to have to re-test with Asterisk 1.8 or later as Asterisk 1.6.2 is only in security maintenance mode.

Per the Asterisk maintenance timeline page at http://www.asterisk.org/asterisk-versions maintenance (bug) support for the 1.4 and 1.6.x branches has ended. For continued maintenance support please move to the 1.8 branch which is a long term support (LTS) branch. For more information about branch support, please see https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Versions.  After testing with Asterisk 1.8, if you find this problem has not been resolved, please open a new issue against Asterisk 1.8.
