Comments: | By: Vadim Mikhnevych (vmikhnevych) 2011-10-10 07:57:52.471-0500 We've got a similar issue on 1.6.2.20 and 1.8.5-rc1. On 1.6.2.20 this usually happens while performing transfer on Polycom phone, or while sending faxes. On 1.8.5-rc1 this happens approximately once a week or two (though that one asterisk is not used for calls at all). What's similar? No error log in console, neither in logs. By: David Woolley (davidw) 2011-10-11 05:59:40.597-0500 You need to provide the backtrace against a 1.8.x.x version, preferably 1.8.7.0. 1.6.2.x is no longer supported for ordinary bugs and 1.6.2.15 isn't even the most bug-fixed 1.6.2.x version. The crash is related to the output of RTP quality statistics at the end of a call. By: Paul Belanger (pabelanger) 2011-10-18 12:10:54.960-0500 Thank you for your bug report. In order to move your issue forward, we require a backtrace[1] from the core file produced after the crash. Also, be sure you have DONT_OPTIMIZE enabled in menuselect within the Compiler Flags section, then: make install After enabling, reproduce the crash, and then execute the backtrace[1] instructions. When complete, attach that file to this issue report. Today the crash reproduced, and following your instructions (DONT_OPTIMIZE was enabled when I attached the first backtrace) I'm attaching the new backtrace. As well as this, asterisk displayed in console this two lines: "asterisk ended with exit status 139" "Asterisk exited on signal 11" Thanks to all again By: Matt Jordan (mjordan) 2011-12-28 12:07:16.864-0600 Per the Asterisk maintenance timeline page at http://www.asterisk.org/asterisk-versions maintenance (bug) support for the 1.4 and 1.6.x branches has ended. For continued maintenance support please move to the 1.8 branch which is a long term support (LTS) branch. For more information about branch support, please see https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Versions. After testing with Asterisk 1.8, if you find this problem has not been resolved, please open a new issue against Asterisk 1.8. |
