Description:It use to be that Chanspy with the g(test) option would listen to appropriate channels where the SPYGROUP simply contained "test". (like "test-1" or "testing")

Now the SPYGROUP needs to be precisely "test". It won`t work if it`s anything else. It's behavior changed a few versions ago, but can`t pinpoint which (definitely not working on 1.6.2.18 and 1.6.2.20, but I don`t know about earlier.)

I think this is actually the intended behaviour. It looks like you were using some unintended functionality for that application, and when it was "fixed" it affected how you were using it. If you want to submit a patch to implement the functionality you were using before as a separate option, then we can look at that. But because it shouldn't have actually worked like you were using it before, this is not a bug.
