Description:I use a macro to dial all user phones.  When I dial a certain extension the service crashes, but not with all extensions.

Even after rolling back to 1.8.4.3 the issue is still present.

The problem is in the dialplan the [:Dial....] copied verbose from documentation is incorrect

the question is why does it crash ... in 1.8.5-rc1 i could not re-produce the crash ...

I can confirm that at this point the change to the if logic has appeared to resolve the initial issue that caused the crash.

From the comments here, it appears that this issue is fixed in the latest 1.8 code (and hopefully in 10 and trunk).  Can this issue be closed?

Closing since this issue seems to have been resolved already.
