Description:Hallo,
with Asterisk 1.8.4.2, and about 200 Snoms 360/370 connected to it I get a further increasing list of non-freed SIP channels in response to the CLI command "sip show channels":

141.78.x.y (None) 3c8de30a35dc-vf 0x0 (nothing) No Rx: PUBLISH <guest>
141.78.x.y (None) 3c8dd94235f0-kb 0x0 (nothing) No Rx: PUBLISH <guest>

141.78.x.y (None) 3c8dd9403a52-gf 0x0 (nothing) No Rx: PUBLISH <guest>
141.78.a.b (None) 3c8de30a9a0b-oq 0x0 (nothing) No Rx: PUBLISH <guest>
141.78.a.b (None) 3c8dd9425a90-7s 0x0 (nothing) No Rx: PUBLISH <guest>
141.78.a.b (None) 3c8dd940b5f4-fa 0x0 (nothing) No Rx: PUBLISH <guest>

These SIP channels will be freed only with an asterisk restart. It seems to me that calls being hung up before being answered produce further entries to this list.

Does this continuously increasing list of frozen SIP channels make any problems? How can this behavior be avoided?

Many thanks for any hints
Wolfgang

This looks to be a duplicate of ASTERISK-17487.
