|Description:||By default, when enabling video and text if A calls B through asterisk, and A does not negociate text or video, asterisk still proposes video and text to B.|
The following patch restrict the native format of inbound channel to avoid this situation and present to B only those codecs that are in common between asterisk and the peer configuration

This functionality has been tweaked and evolved since this patch was written. Is it still applicable in a current supported version of Asterisk?
