Description:I have a lot of Asterisk in production environment working very well.

But sometimes I receive an email reporting that Asterisk crash.

When I open the core dump, always there are the information the Asterisk was communicating with the Nuance application.

I tried many times reproduce the problem, but I can't

The communication between Astersik and Nuance is just SIP and I got the problem since version 1.4.26

Per the Asterisk maintenance timeline page at http://www.asterisk.org/asterisk-versions maintenance (bug) support for the 1.4 and 1.6.x branches has ended. For continued maintenance support please move to the 1.8 branch which is a long term support (LTS) branch.

I have not updated to 1.8 yet.

Now, I'm trying to update the NVP to 4.0.
