Description: | I have seen this issue over many asterisk versions. If an asterisk machine has a IAX trunk or SIP trunk and the internet drops out then the PBX basically stops. This is an issue because it makes it impossible for PBX to drop back to ISDN. | ||
Comments: | By: David Woolley (davidw) 2011-01-31 06:10:12.000-0600 On the basic symptoms, you should have provided deadlock debugging information - core show locks and an unoptimised backtrace (needs thread debugging and no optimisation compile time options). However, my guess is that this is a configuration problem, namely that DNS requrests are not produceing a destination unchreachable ICMP response or a prompt DNS failure response.
