Description: | 330 an 331 models can only store 100 contacts, so, if you have more extensions, the default directory is truncated. The idea is to have customized directory for this small phones, using the same dynamic template. This way, big an small phones will be happy. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** More info about directory on polycom phones. http://supportdocs.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/global/documents/support/setup_maintenance/products/voice/spip_ssip_Admin_Guide_UCS_v3_3_0.pdf page 76 | ||
Comments: | By: Christian Jacobsen (cjacobsen) 2010-12-23 15:10:24.000-0600 The file 000000000000-directory.orig.xml mentioned in the patch is the original 000000000000-directory.xml file. By: Andrew Latham (lathama) 2010-12-24 07:13:40.000-0600 oops last patch (macdirectory.diff) causes a loop, reworking now to clean this up. Also testing an issue with the path... By: Leif Madsen (lmadsen) 2011-01-04 14:40:29.000-0600 I can't really test this here and I don't quite understand the problem, so I'm just marking this as Ready For Testing. By: Andrew Latham (lathama) 2011-01-04 14:45:34.000-0600 Leif, please delete macdirectory.diff as there is a mistake. Some smaller phones can not handle more than 100 entries in the addressbook and this is a way to limit that. By: Sean Bright (seanbright) 2011-01-29 17:47:21.000-0600 Deleted. By: Andrew Latham (lathama) 2011-02-06 20:02:17.000-0600 Lets use some intelligence like the https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Function_DEC to count down from a number set as a var in phoneprov.conf. Checking if the users.conf setting for directory is set would also be a good option. By: Andrew Latham (lathama) 2011-06-06 15:50:24.322-0500 Closing for lack of interest. This is more of a feature than a bug. |
