Description: | Hello, i use Asterisk 1.8.0 RC3 on Ubuntu 10.04 32 bit with: dahdi-linux 2.4 dahdi-tools 2.4 libpri 1.4.11.4 linux-2.6.32.24 wcb4xxp BeroNet BN4S0 I try to use voicemail if some sip is busy. At the beginning of the voicemail, a voice should say, that the phone is busy, but most of the time i can't hear or understand the voice. Another problem is: near every voicemail wasn't recorded full to the hdd. It means that the file was created, but there is no sound and the filesize is 86 Bytes. voicemail.conf ########################## [general] format=wav49 maxsecs=180 minsecs=0 saycid=no maxlogins=3 skipms=3000 maxsilence=10 charset=ISO-8859-15 cidinternalcontexts=from-intern maxgreet=60 dialout=from-intern callback=from-intern pbxskip=yes nextaftercmd=yes searchcontexts=yes language=de context=from-intern attach=yes sendvoicemail=yes serveremail=mail@example.com fromstring=sfa emaildateformat=%A, %B %d, %Y at %r emailsubject=Neue Nachricht von ${VM_CIDNUM} im AB emailbody=Hallo!\n\n${VM_CIDNUM} hat um ${VM_DATE} eine ${VM_DUR} lange Nachricht auf dem Anrufbeantworter hinterlassen.\n\nGruss,\nIhre Telefonanlage ########################## Some ideas or questions to my post? | ||
Comments: | By: Stefan Schmidt (schmidts) 2010-10-11 13:47:59 could you please try a direct goto(voicemail,02,1) instead of o local dial. i am interested if this would change the behavior. also please attach log outputs and dont post it directly as a comment ;) and btw it would help us to see what happens at which time. To generate this start asterisk with T parameter added like asterisk -cvvvvvgT thanks! stefan schmidt By: Simon Odrich (simon_odrich) 2010-10-12 04:41:29 Direct goto(voicemail,02,1) works great. No problems with sound or writing to hdd. I'll add the outputs. By: Leif Madsen (lmadsen) 2010-10-12 12:39:55 This seems like the Local channel is being optimized away. It should probably have the /n added to the end to make it act like a "real channel" and not get optimized away. By: Simon Odrich (simon_odrich) 2010-10-15 03:09:41 We added the "\n", but the same problem exists. Should some additional info provided? By: Paul Belanger (pabelanger) 2010-10-17 13:07:36 We require a complete debug log to help triage the issue. This document will provide instructions on how to collect debugging logs from an Asterisk machine for the purpose of helping bug marshals troubleshoot an issue: http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk/trunk/doc/HOWTO_collect_debug_information.txt By: Simon Odrich (simon_odrich) 2010-10-19 02:13:30 I added the debug log. By: Paul Belanger (pabelanger) 2010-10-19 18:36:49 Why do you believe this is a voicemail problem, and not a network / configuration issue? What have you tried an echo test? Nothing is your debug log points to a problem with voicemail. --- Thanks for your comments. This does not appear to be a bug report and we are closing it. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise your question in the support tracker, http://www.asterisk.org/support |
