Description:I think this issues may be related to 16058.

I'm running 1.6.1.11 with the supplied patch from 16058, but I still get random crashes with similar backtraces.

This is a server with very little load. Only a few AMI Originate to local channels using the /n switch. One leg of the call is to a local sip account and the other is to an another server using IAX2.

See attached backtrace.

As requested in 16058 I'm opening a new ticket here, and wants it to be linked to that one.

Are you able to generate the same crash with a more recent version?

i have the same crash on 1.6.2.3-rc2 - i will upgrade to 1.6.2.6 soon to be see if it also happens there...

Sorry for taking some time. I've been on vacation.

After upgrading to 1.6.1.18 it has crashed twice with the same backtrace info.

one more note. This is a 64 bit centos system. It was upgraded(complete reinstall) from a 32 bit (old fedora) and then the problem started.

Might it not be related more to issue: ASTERISK-14975 ?

Please retest with 1.6.2

hi,

i have the same problem on a 1.6.2.9-rc2 machine. I have applied the patch  frame_datalen.patch from bug report 0016058 to my machine.

I now don't have a crash any more - but getting really much of these messages
