By: bhrugu mehta (bhrugu) 2010-02-01 22:43:23.000-0600 No, this is a new feature of realtime engine. it support oracle database connectivity to load sip,voicemail,queue etc from db table. you have to put this file directly in res folder of asterisk. change Makefile and append following line to SOLINk -L$ORACLE_HOME/lib/ -lclntsh -L/usr/local/lib -locilib -locci then again compile asterisk. if you use client then set ORACLE_HOME path in environment var. here ,my oracle lib path is -L$ORACLE_HOME/lib/ -lclntsh By: Leif Madsen (lmadsen) 2010-02-02 08:49:16.000-0600 Uhhhh... I don't think you understood my question. This issue states: Older 1.4 - please test a newer version ...as the version you've submitted. I'm asking if this feature was created against Asterisk trunk, and that you've just selected the wrong version. If this was really made against Asterisk 1.4, then you'll need to update your patches to be against Asterisk trunk -- as that is where new features like this will go (and not into an existing release branch). If this is against trunk, then I just want to confirm so I can change the Asterisk Version field to be correct. By: bhrugu mehta (bhrugu) 2010-02-02 22:56:49.000-0600 Oh, sorry , this is actually worked in any asterisk 1.4 version so you can set asterisk-1.4.29 but i have not tested in asterisk 1.6 version. I will work on this patch against asterisk trunk when i have time.
