Description: | I recently went from 1.4.26.1 to 1.4.29. This means that if the customer has already recorded his unavailable messages on an old version (and has the .wav, .WAV and .gsm) and he now tries to record over it, the .WAV doesn't change and depending on circumstances the old message may be played back. ****** STEPS TO REPRODUCE ****** Record your unavailable message, and see that the .WAV file is either non-existent or it's timestamp is older than expected. | ||
Comments: | By: Michael Gaudette (bluefox) 2010-01-25 08:55:21.000-0600 Forgot to add: voicemail.conf has the following line: format = wav49|gsm|wav I don't know if this only influences the messages left or also the greetings, but in any case it's there. By: Tilghman Lesher (tilghman) 2010-02-05 12:30:57.000-0600 This appears to be the same issue as ASTERISK-15410, although with different symptoms, which was fixed recently. Could you either try SVN 1.4 or the 1.4.30-rc1 release candidate, due to be released today? In fact, I'm fairly confident that this is now solved, as I've tested both. SVN 1.4 and the release candidate perform as expected, while with 1.4.29, one of the formats is missing. |
