Description:The reply after the "Command: event" lacks a "\r\n".

ups, it's "events", not "event"

By fixing this, i realized a simply:
Action: Events
EvenMask: On
or
Action: Events
EvenMask: Off

was not working anymore and was not returning anything.

Also add braces as per new guidelines.

Let me know if this fix your problem.
