Description:In 1.6.2.x the keepstats option in queues.conf was removed, because a queue reset CLI command was introduced. But this option is still useful, because you should be able to set a default for normal CLI reload behaviour.

I'll add a patch to reinstate this option.

I just made a patch against trunk, tested it, and found another problem. A new patch is uploaded. This one is the definitive one as far as I am concerned.

Whoops, never should say that a patch is the definitive one. I forgot to document the option in configs/queues.conf.sample. So uploaded a new version. Sorry.

Can someone remove the second patch? I inadvertently uploaded the wrong one. Thanks.

Patch tested on fresh trunk (r 241458) with a positive result.

Thanks for the patch.  However, the change in behavior was intentional.  The queue reset command will need to be used instead of a full reload to reset queue stats.
