Description: | I had the latest RC version and was unable to get G729 to work. At first I thought it was related to the new Asterisk Ver. So on seperate server I downloaded and installed the current release which turned out to be 1.6.0.18. Had no problems at all with 10 differant G729 files on 1.6.0.18. I than Deleted all the /usr/lib/asterisk/modules and etc/asterisk/.conf files and did a (make memuselect) and turned on ([*] LOW_MEMORY) options.. ran (make install). Asterisk worked fine but refuses to work with g729. I tested 10 differant g729 which worked before installing with ([*] LOW_MEMORY) option enabled. I dont know if this is a bug or if i need to compile g729 again for the new ([*] LOW_MEMORY) install asterisk. | ||

Please set this issue to an appropriate status after reviewing and possibly commenting. Thanks! By: Leif Madsen (lmadsen) 2009-11-23 19:21:41.000-0600 I just realized (after Russell pointed it out to me) that you said "...had to compile g729 again" which means you are not using a supported version of g729. Closing this issue as you are using an unsupported module. |
