Description:I have a Toshiba PBX connected to Asterisk over two PRIs using QSIG. When I make a call from Toshiba -> Asterisk the Caller ID name and number is shown on the SIP phone. However when making a call from Asterisk -> Toshiba, the Toshiba will only show the Caller ID number.

Would it be possible for somebody to implement sending the Caller ID name over QSIG? This would make interoperability with other PBX systems more seamless. I constantly get questions about why the Caller ID name isn't displayed as it is shown for Toshiba -> Toshiba calls, Toshiba -> Asterisk calls, and Asterisk -> Asterisk calls.

I know this is possible as there is a PDF on configuring QSIG between a Toshiba CIX and a Avaya Communication Manager that demonstrates the Caller ID name.

• Place a test call to a station on the Avaya switch from a station on the Toshiba switch. Verify the talk path is 2-way and that the called station displays the calling party name and number. The Avaya station displays the name and 5-digit extension of the calling party. The Toshiba station displays the name and 5-digit called party.

Have you tried setting facilityenable = yes in chan_dahdi.conf?
