Description:It's hard to reproduce but sometimes asterisk crashes while handling the misdn hangup.

My asterisk runs with misdn debug 1 and the last line i can track is the handling hangup stuff. It's very hard to track but it happens often enougth to be troublesome. Often it happens quickly after a system restart but runs for hours on if asterisk is then restarted by my keepalive script.

In the moment i think it's the process after a call couldn't be established because a misdn error occured (like physical line isn't avaible, no cable connected etc.) or if you very quickly reject the call.
As i always get a seg fault for access of adress zero i guess that a channel ressource should be freed that isn't correctly initialised because the connection was not established os so..

I add informations as i'am able to get them but as usual for myself it's a little tricky to run the system in debug mode.

I would like to let this report open as there are many other crash reports pending whom i think are the same problem.

Only a short keep alive, i'am still having this problem but i can't take any snapshots of the system as i'll be shot if i change any tiny bit at this system. I hope i can get my test system up soon, as it needs some hardware fixes. (Burned it in some *reliability* test.

I installed some patches for various other problems, mostly the "no free channel" things from 1.6 etc. and in the moment the problem didn't appear. So i park this report until i know more details.

I added a statement to ticket 0016335 handling this issue

This might be the same cause as for issue 18408 which might be helpful as it is reproducible.

I'm closing this issue as it is very old, and contains no debugging information to go on to resolve the issue. Please re-open this issue if it is still a problem on the most recent version of Asterisk, and can provide the information to debug.
