|Description:||Please provide information on where I can find information about changes on the branch revisions as it was possible with the SVN web view.|
As for I cannot find any information what issues are addressed or what features are added in the revisions, it is always a shrewd adventure how Asterisk will behave after the upgrade.

viewvc has been disabled for the time being until it can be moved to a dedicated server.
Releases come with a full changelog and release summary. For example:

You can still use your own SVN client to get this information from the repository.

Sorry for the silly question, but where can I find your own SVN client?

These types of questions are best asked on the various mailing lists at lists.digium.com
You misunderstood what davidw said. You can view the ChangeLog file in an svn checkout of the tag.
