Description: | If the adaptive jitter buffer is enabled, problems are experienced with the Zoiper client. When DTMF events are sent, the jitter buffer becomes confused and starts increasing the buffer size. If DTMF events continue to be sent then the buffer reaches it's maximum defined size and audio sounds broken up to the caller. After a few seconds of no DTMF events being sent the jitter buffer shrinks and audio is OK again. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** Zoiper - set to use SIP and RFC-2833 for DTMF zapata.conf (zaptel-1.4.12.1) jbenable=yes jbresyncthreshold = 1000 jbmaxsize=400 jbimpl=adaptive | ||

By: Kris Shaw (shawkris) 2009-05-05 12:07:33 I haven't tested that many, but X-Lite doesn't seem to have this problem. By: Leif Madsen (lmadsen) 2009-05-05 12:32:23 I'm closing this as an issue you should take up with the Zoiper people. If you can find some information that points directly to Asterisk doing something incorrect, then please reopen this issue. Otherwise, I'm going to direct you to the creator of the soft phone. Thanks! |
