Description: | Incorrect call termination due to sip message size. When making a SIP call through a carrier with previous versions of asterisk calls succeed with no problems at all. With Asterisk 1.4.23.1 when a call is progressing (Ringing) and the caller hangs up, the phone continues to ring. The carrier reports that the message is too large. This problem only occurs when a call is not answered. Does Asterisk 1.4.23.1 handle this situation differently to other versions? | ||
Comments: | By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2009-01-26 16:26:55.000-0600 Please attach a log with the SIP packet that they are saying is too large. Additionally a log with a working SIP packet from a previous version would also be useful. By: Ross Beer (rossbeer) 2009-01-27 06:26:28.000-0600 I have attached a working trace and a trace from the new version of asterisk. Hope this helps! By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2009-02-12 14:37:34.000-0600 I've examined the SIP traces provided and believe this was actually an issue with the branch tag. A fix has already been put in that should fix it, can you please try the 1.4 branch? By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2009-02-26 10:59:19.000-0600 rossbeer: Any update? By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2009-03-04 09:37:51.000-0600 Suspended due to lack of response. Reopen if what I said was not correct. |
