noahissac,
if you can. see if you can replicate this with Asterisk 1.6.1.

Seems to be OK with 1.6.1b4, i.e. can't replicate this bug.  Tested on Ubuntu 8.10.  Any idea if this could be made to work on 1.6.0?  I take it there's some sort of manager bug in 1.6.0?

---------------------------------
FYI: Unrelated to this bug, but I had to run the detectdahdi.sh script manually to get the gui working on my test system.  Before I manually ran it, the GUI got stuck in an infinite loop.  I'll file a bug report on this, too.

noahisaac,
as I expected. Yea, there is a bug in 1.6.0 that isn't in 1.6.1. We're currently trying to find out which change fixed it. Thanks for the bug, we'll update you when we have it located.

--------------
(Re: unrelated) please do report that, as the dahdi stuff is relatively new and the sooner we can work out the bugs, the better.

moved to the Asterisk project as this is most likely an issue with manager.c or http.c and not GUI code.

also assigned bug to murf. :-P

Its not a bug, 'emptycat' action was not implemented in 1.6.0 but is there in 1.6.1. Updating the GUI to r4403 or later should take care of this issue.

Please verify Pari's assertion and if updating your asterisk-gui solves your problem, then we can close this bug!

Sorry for the delay.  It's the season for sickness!

Anyway, I just tried with the asterisk 1.6.0.5 tarball, and GUI version 2.0-r4493, and the advanced user edit works correctly.  Thanks!

Closed as this appears resolved, based on report from the reporter! huzzah!
