Description:We use Asterisk and mISDN in very utilized server in a callcenter. With Asterisk 1.4.17 and mISDN 1.1.7.2 works everything fine. With Asterisk 1.4.21.2 and mISDN 1.1.8 Asterisk randomly crashes. We tried combinate Asterisk versions 1.4.20 to 1.4.22 with mISDN 1.1.7.2 and 1.1.8 and the result is the same - we did not found working combination. When I stop placing calls to chan_misdn, Asterisk is stable.

Current configuration of the server:
Debian Etch with kernel 2.6.18
Asterisk 1.4.22
mISDN 1.1.7.2
Beronet ISDN card BN8S0

Complete trace log is in attached file. In trace are two crashes - at 09:39:55 and at 09:51:11.

Can you provide the backtrace with DONT_OPTIMIZE enabled in menuselect and attach it to this bug? Thanks!

Backtrace is generated with Asterisk 1.4.22 and mISDN 1.1.8.

This backtrace does not appear to have been generated with DONT_OPTIMIZE on.  Or, if it was, then you have a corrupt stack and we need you to follow the instructions in doc/valgrind.txt.
