Alec By: Leif Madsen (lmadsen) 2009-01-20 13:17:56.000-0600 Russell is quite busy, so this might take a bit for him to get to, but I've assigned it to him to ping him on this issue since you provided some information that he requested. Russell, please reassign should you not be able to look at this. Thanks! By: Rafael Prado Rocchi (prado) 2009-01-23 12:41:29.000-0600 Hi Alecdavis, This is not a bug, it is a feature of ISDN. It appears that your telco is using "early_media" to make the announcement. Note that you don´t have "answer" on your firt call. But you have "answer" when you call Digium on the second call. Your company act this way to not charge you when you listen to the announcement, if there is no answer, you don´t have to pay that call. This is the early-media feature. But for an electronic device, if there is no ISDN "answered" message, asterisk will "think" it is still ringing because this was the last call state! Technically this is handled by libpri and not asterisk. My proposal for resolution is: Try setting "progressinband=yes" to your sip.conf and it should solve your problem making you hear the announcement. By: Leif Madsen (lmadsen) 2009-01-27 13:45:30.000-0600 I'm closing this as I feel that prado is most likely correct. Thanks for the information! |
