|Description:||We are using a custom application module initially based on app_voicemail.c. We successfully moved to 22.214.171.124 in April. But with miminal software changes our production system exhibited spontaneous crashes.|
Via investigation using 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52 in test environment we can produce (if code base doesn't change drastically) a crash shortly after a Asterisk startup (within couple mins). Leaving system longer means that crash doesn't happen.
Attached valgrind / dbg shows crash in ast_verbose. But if switch off verbosity, crash just moves elsewhere (see no_verbose valgrind trace).

Sorry, we can't support modified Asterisk source code. When you can reproduce this with the latest, *unpatched*, version of Asterisk, you may find a bug marshall on the Freenode IRC network (irc.freenode.net) in the #asterisk-bugs channel.
Thanks for using Asterisk!
