Description:We are using a custom application module initially based on app_voicemail.c.  We successfully moved to 1.4.17.1 in April.  But with miminal software changes our production system exhibited spontaneous crashes.

Via investigation using 1.4.17.1 and 1.4.21.2 in test environment we can produce (if code base doesn't change drastically) a crash shortly after a Asterisk startup (within couple mins).  Leaving system longer means that crash doesn't happen.

Attached valgrind / dbg shows crash in ast_verbose.  But if switch off verbosity, crash just moves elsewhere (see no_verbose valgrind trace).

Sorry, we can't support modified Asterisk source code. When you can reproduce this with the latest, *unpatched*, version of Asterisk, you may find a bug marshall on the Freenode IRC network (irc.freenode.net) in the #asterisk-bugs channel.

Thanks for using Asterisk!
