Description: | MusicOnHold stops when no RTP is coming from remote party. Silence detection is supported by listed applications, not by Asterisk. Because MOH works as "tone" generator, it works when Asterisk receives any sort of RTP packets. When RTP transmission on client is disabled (due to silence), Asterisk stops MOH as it's not gets RTPs from client. This bug was reported on asterisk 1.4.18 as with 0000379 id. I'm asking this as feature request as indicated in the 0000379. | ||
Comments: | By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2008-04-14 08:31:03 Internal timing using a zaptel source is already available. Check your asterisk.conf for the option and seek further help through other methods. |
