Description: | Attached a patch that demonstrates the use of asciidoc for Asterisk documentation. The new documentation currently only includes zapata.conf and the CODING-GUILINES. the CODING-GUIDELINES have been completely converted to the new format. The sample zapata.conf demonstrates having a structured reference configuration file. This should hopefully also allow referencing configuration items from elsewhere. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** asterisk-asciidoc.html is the generated output. You need to download it and view it locally due to the Mantis' presentation of attachments. | ||
Comments: | By: Jason Parker (jparker) 2008-04-11 15:06:08 What do we want to do with this? Was there any consensus on the -dev list about this? By: Russell Bryant (russell) 2008-06-03 15:06:24 I'm suspending this for now, as this is not the place for discussion. I really don't care what markup format we use. To change to something else, you'll have to: 1) Get a majority consensus on the -dev list that it's a worthwhile change 2) Be willing to do the mass conversion 3) Do the mass conversion All of which should be done before something is posted here |
