Description:When the "Dial" application in my Asterisk setup on Fedora 8 x86-64 generates DTMF tones on a Zap channel, it generates a wrong tone for "4".  I'm not sure whether the other tones are right or not, but the "4" is noticeably off.  Therefore, the Asterisk cannot place most POTS calls.  (I mention x86-64 because an identical Asterisk setup, on 32-bit Fedora 8, on another partition of the same computer, has not exhibited this problem.)

****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ******

Using a POTS phone to eavesdrop on the DTMF tones, I can hear that the clearly-wrong "4" tone occupies the right length of time, and it is a consistent pitch from start to finish, but it is not one of the normal digit tones.  It does not sound like a dual tone.

Weird.  Could you get a ztmonitor recording of this?

On second thought - I'm fairly confident that this is the same issue that is being tracked at ZAP-283.  Please do upload the ztmonitor capture there - that still seems like it would be VERY useful to have for diagnosis.
