Description:	hi:   with asterisk 1.4.18 and zaptel 1.4.8, zoiper (ver 2.14) iax2 DTMF sometimes stop working suddenly.   please see zoiper-dtmf.txt: at first the dtmf is working fine. in the bottom zoiper send "87654321" and asterisk received it, but never sent it out.

Colp (jcolp) 2008-02-20 14:17:55.000-0600 This actually looks like an IAX2 protocol issue... at one point chan_iax2 is trying to make sure the other side is still alive and resends a few packets, then all at once it comes back to life... quite odd. Did this work fine and dandy with previous versions or is this your first time trying it? However 2.14 changelog also states "Fixed DTMF for SIP and IAX including DTMF support in early media" so the guys actively doing something with DTMF.... By: tbsky (tbsky) 2008-02-21 06:51:58.000-0600 hi:  2.13 and 2.14 is the same. in fact asterisk DTMF seldom works for me on all kinds of voip devices. so i tried to figure it out these weeks. i am lucky that there are some patches which helps me fix grandstream problems. i tried many versions of zoiper with IAX2. and zoiper DTMF never works 100% correctly for me.  i report this because asterisk seems receive the DTMF correctly, but didn't send it out. By: tbsky (tbsky) 2008-03-03 10:13:52.000-0600 hi:   i was fighting with 4 kinds of DTMF problems. thanks to dimas, two are solved, one is snom's problem and waiting for fix. this one seems related to asterisk? since asterisk receive the DTMF correctly, but it didn't send it out.   anymore information i can provide to further trace the problem?   thanks a lot for help!!
