Description: | I've installed chan_mobile an it works very well. But on an established connection, the called partner has a latency of about 1-2 seconds. The other hears the voice just in time. Tested it on five different USB-BT-Sticks, everytime the same problem. Maybe an SCO issue ? ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** Debian 4.0 Kernel 2.6.20 Mobile Phones : Sony K610i, Nokia N95, Nokia E60 USB-BT : DLink, Sitecom, aQuip, AVM Bluefritz, NoName (Whitelabel) | ||
Comments: | By: Dave Bowerman (dbowerman) 2007-12-22 23:45:55.000-0600 Just to clarify, The call is outbound thru the mobile phone? which party has the delay? the caller, or the called party? thanks By: Dave Bowerman (dbowerman) 2007-12-23 01:52:27.000-0600 could you test with latest svn? Ive tested with SIP phone -> chan_mobile -> Nokia 6120c -> mobile network -> imate Jasjam cant detect a delay. By: John Lassen (proteus74) 2007-12-23 05:41:42.000-0600 Now i've installed the latest Trunk of Asterisk with Chan_Mobile .r499, but nothing has changed. It seem's it is the same problem as in Issue 11164 discribed. Here a litte scheme : SIP(1) -> Asterisk -> chan_mobile -> Sony K610i -> PSTN(2) When I(1) speak, the other side (PSTN) hears me just in time. When PSTN(2) speaks, it takes about 1-2 secs, to hear them. The same problem existes when you take the other way like, so PSTN called the Mobilephone : PTSN -> Sony K610 -> chan_mobile -> Asterisk -> Sip-Phone That it has the same effect. Could you tell me which BT-Adaptor (brand, chip) you use ? PS:Sorry for my worse english By: Dave Bowerman (dbowerman) 2007-12-23 05:49:48.000-0600 I use a 'no-name' brand adapter which is based on the CSR chipset. I also recommend using the latest bluez-libs and bluez-utils from www.bluez.org. There are a lot of bug fixes/improvements to audio in the latest releases compared to the libbluetooth that ships with most distros. By: John Lassen (proteus74) 2007-12-25 06:32:59.000-0600 Now i've installed the latest Bluez-Libs (libbluetooth.so.2.9.3), but nothing changes. I've also tried a CSR- BT Stick, but even no change. By: non-poster (non-poster) 2007-12-29 00:00:51.000-0600 I have the same problem. SIP(1) -> Asterisk -> chan_mobile -> cellphone -> PSTN(2) Exactly the same problem as reporter: When I(1) speak, the other side (PSTN) hears me just in time. When PSTN(2) speaks, it takes about 1-2 secs, to hear them. asterisk-addons-trunk-r499 asterisk-trunk-r95313 bluez-libs-3.23 bluez-utils-3.23 By: Sabin (binsa) 2007-12-29 06:14:29.000-0600 dbowerrman: what about audio before connect I wrote in 0011501? By: John Lassen (proteus74) 2008-01-06 09:36:57.000-0600 @dbowerman : Could you please tell me, which Linux Distribution use ? By: John Lassen (proteus74) 2008-01-06 12:45:29.000-0600 Now i've installed the latest Trixbox with the latest asterisk-(addons)-trunk, but the same problem still exists. :-( By: John Lassen (proteus74) 2008-01-08 05:18:18.000-0600 @Dbowerman Okay, i think you can close this issue. I played a litte bit with the parameters at the mobile.conf : forcemaster=yes alignmentdetection=yes nocallsetup=yes Now, everything works fine. Thanks anyhow for your support. By: Dave Bowerman (dbowerman) 2008-01-08 06:39:50.000-0600 ok, thanks. btw: i use ubuntu server 7.10 with bluez-libs compiled from source. |
