Description:As written, the bug 0009650 fixed in 1.4 as of revision 90548 and trunk as of revision 90550. But the bug still seems to be present in 1.4.17, 1.4.16.2 and 1.4.16.1

It goes about attended transfer:

As nic_bellamy wrote:

1. A calls B
2. B answers
3. B starts attended transfer to C, and A starts hearing MOH
4. B hears ringing, completes transfer - A stops hearing MOH, getting dead silence instead, until...
5. C eventually answers phone or call goes to voicemail, at which point A gets audio again

Please attach full console output with core debug going to console (as set in logger.conf) with core debug set to 9.

Interesting. Is this the same as ASTERISK-11030?

I have tested that the same problem happens with:
Debian Etch + Asterisk 1.4.11 and Debian Ethc + Asterisk 1.4.17
Both in transferences from incoming zap or sip channels.

When you make a blind transfer the channels gets muted until the other person answers the phone.

I have seen that if after "mute time" you get voicemail it changes the language of the voicemail to english (en). In my case, from spanish voices to english.

My clients have reported the same occurrence on 1.4.17 and I have been telling them if they transfer that way use a blind transfer.  However, it would be great if when they ignored my instructions Asterisk would place ringing in the channel.  Willing to report any requested information.
