Description: | We just experienced a hang on one of our servers while issuing a reload command. The asterisk console became non-responsive, and attaching new asterisk console processes did not allow us to execute any further console commands. A couple of "show channels" commands were run with no output produced. So unfortunately, we could not get the output of "core show locks". We did get gdb output from the running process, and hopefully someone can get something from this. There is a possibility that there were 2 reloads that were runing concurrently (by accident). ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** Dell 1950, 2 x 3GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, CentOS 4.5 Sip users / peers in realtime. Approx 5000. Everything else loaded out of files. Show dialplan output -> -= 23861 extensions (117504 priorities) in 2395 contexts. =- | ||
Comments: | By: Jason Parker (jparker) 2007-12-07 16:51:43.000-0600 I suspect that this was a one-time thing. If you do have this happen again, please reopen this issue, and we'll need the output of a core show locks - don't run show channels, and it shouldn't lock the CLI. |
