Description: | I see http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=9015. It ends with "The name of the file has remained zaptel.rules". It does not work on my Gentoo. I short the file should be named as tzafrir says: nn_zaptel.rules: snowflake rules.d # ln -s zaptel.rules 10_zaptel.rules snowflake rules.d # modprobe zaptel snowflake rules.d # ls -l /dev/zap/ total 0 crw-rw---- 1 asterisk asterisk 196, 254 Oct 7 19:34 channel crw-rw---- 1 asterisk asterisk 196, 0 Oct 7 19:34 ctl crw-rw---- 1 asterisk asterisk 196, 255 Oct 7 19:34 pseudo crw-rw---- 1 asterisk asterisk 196, 253 Oct 7 19:34 timer crw-rw---- 1 asterisk asterisk 196, 250 Oct 7 19:34 transcode And we can run asterisk as user/group asterisk. Otherwise it cannot open /dev/zap devices. Version 1.4.12. | ||
Comments: | By: Jason Parker (jparker) 2007-10-15 15:36:00 What user/group are the device nodes owned by if you don't have it as 10_zaptel?
