Description:I'm trying to start and stop record a channel from the manager and I want the file to be mix at the end. If you use a filename with a dot(.) inside, ex: the uniqueid, the file won't be mix.

If I use :

Action: Monitor
Channel: SIP/9999-08bdc0d8
File: 123453545_1186495594.34
Mix: 1

The files won't be mix but if I use :

Action: Monitor
Channel: SIP/9999-08bdc0d8
File: 123453545_118649559434
Mix: 1

Then the call will be mix.

I tested with Asterisk 1.2.15, 1.2.23 and 1.4.9

I couldn't reproduce this bug with asterisk SVN trunk. Please upload a full log.

he said with "1.2.15, 1.2.23 and 1.4.9", he never mentionned trunk.

I also attempted to reproduce this issue under 1.4 and could not, it worked perfectly fine with the . in the filename. Can you please provide logs showing otherwise? Thanks.

I just tried to reproduce the bugs on two other server using different version of Asterisk from 1.2 to 1.4 and the trunk. There is no issue, everything is working fine.

I dunno why on one specific server it is not working but it's not an Asterisk issue. You can close this bugs, thx for your time and sorry for the false bugs :P
