Description: | Sometimes, CPPFLAGS or LDFLAGS are “forgotten” when linking an executable, which breaks cross-compilation environments that pass important information in these. Also, /usr/bin/ar might not be the right choice for the target, use a variable ${TARGET_CROSS} which is predefined by most current cross build environments. This is for 1.2.x branch. | ||
Comments: | By: Russell Bryant (russell) 2007-07-20 17:22:42 Did you actually write these patches? They all say FreeWRT on them. By: Thorsten Glaser (mirabilos) 2007-07-21 10:39:10 These patches were written by the company employing me (by either my boss, my colleagues or myself) for the FreeWRT Project, and I was authorised and ordered to make sure they can be fed back to upstream. By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2007-08-07 10:25:04 1.2 has now entered a security fixes only state so I'm closing this bug out. If you have changes for 1.4 feel free to open a new bug with them. |
