Description:One of my asterisk have to use dyndns.
After a change of the ip-adress dundi of the other asterisks dosen't change to the new ip untill a reload.
It seems like dundi do not update to the ip given by dnsmgr.

On the asterisk with changed ip-adress all works fine, but the other asterisks say peer is unreachable.

****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ******

Updating the ip-adress will be done by ddclient.
Using dnsmgr
Debian Sarge and suse 9.3

Also reported at http://www.ip-phone-forum.de/showthread.php?t=138380

At the moment I've installed a cron-job who makes a reload every two houres.

DUNDi does not use dnsmgr. I'm also sort of confused, are you explicitly putting in the host and not registering? If so yeah the host will only be resolved upon initial load or subsequent reloads.

What I have done:

made an entry register=yes in dundi.conf
made an user in iax.conf with register
restart the asterisks

After the next change of ip the asterisk was shown as unreachable.

That behavior also means that, if one of the peers with fixed ip changes his ip I have to make a reload or the peer is lost for me.

Please attach your configuration files minus the passwords.

As already indicated, DUNDi does not use dnsmgr, so DNS changes will not be reflected until reload.  This is not a bug ...
