Description: | It would be really useful if it would log a more helpful error message when a registration attempt is denied because of a deny= / permit= statement in sip.conf, rather than reporting "auth/username mismatch." Could it please log something like "request denied (x.x.x.x) by deny=...." Wasted a lot of time trying to debug non-existent user/pass problem when it was actually being caused by the permit/deny lines in sip.conf. | ||
Comments: | By: Olle Johansson (oej) 2007-05-16 03:24:18 Agree that this was bad. Fixed this and added a message for peers that wasn't dynamic and still tried to register with Asterisk. By: Olle Johansson (oej) 2007-05-16 03:26:01 Fixed in 1.2 rev 64514, later in 1.4 and trunk. By: Olle Johansson (oej) 2007-05-16 03:47:19 The fix for 1.4/trunk was a bit different since there had been changes to that code already, but not including error messages for this case and the peer/dynamic case. |
